                  In 2000, I was diagnosed an Autoimmune Disease, Lupus, an illness that  claimed the life of my younger sister in 2007.  Throughout her illness, I became more and more frustrated with Western Medicine.  I always felt like the physicians were treating the symptoms but never the disease.  Then, in 2009, I was battling an aggressive form of Breast Cancer.  After a year and a half of treatments and surgeries, I was in remission.  Although I was thankful for modern medicine, I still couldn't shake the fact that something I did, something that I ate, caused the disease.  I always had this nagging feeling that I could do more than wait and see if it would come back.  The doctors check my blood work every six months and I get an annual mammogram, but all of this wasn't preventing a recurrence.  At the beginning of 2018, I had had enough waiting. I wanted to get more proactive with my health.  It was then that I met LuAnn.  She has been a lifesaver!  She has been assisting me in determining the best diet/lifestyle for me that will eliminate the excess estrogen and inflammation in my body.  We started with a Mediterranean diet, then moved on to a Mitochondrial diet and now, finally, we are working together to reclaim my health with a Ketogenic diet.  LuAnn used my blood work results to help determine the least restrictive diet with the most health benefits for me.  Any time I have  a questions or concerns, she is always there to answer it and give me examples and suggestions for dealing with the symptoms that I am having.  It has been and continues to be a journey, for sure.  But,  it took me 47 years to get here.  It is going to take more than a few months to dig back out of the hole.  I am so lucky that I found LuAnn!  There is no way that I would be on my way back to health without her!  Thank you, LuAnn! - Kathy P.
